Version 0.2 adds drawing review to deep checks, cuts noise from the findings list, and makes each finding easier to review.
Highlights
Drawing review in deep checks. Deep checks now read drawing sheets as images and run the final review step, so issues on the drawings themselves can surface as findings. Quick checks, and checks against two or more specifications, do not include it.
Less noise. We reduced the noise findings by learning from the past projects and reviewing engineers' comments.
Clearer categories. Findings are labelled Violation, Gap or Discrepancy, and you can vote on or reclassify each one.
Clearer Document Map. Studies are no longer merged into drawing entries, and relationships you confirm show as solid lines.
Current runs panel. Check progress stays visible after a page refresh.
Low-confidence findings are added. As preview for more findings to surface, we listed those findings with ambiguity under "Low confidence findings — Preview only, not counted in the totals".
Design limits
Drawing review reads, it does not measure. A vision model reads each drawing sheet as an image. Sheets that are mostly dense notes are read as text only. Geometric or spatial clash detection (for example, checking clearances or overlaps by measuring the drawing) is limited by design.
Each check has a time limit. A check stops after about 3 hours at most; if it runs out of time, nothing is published and it needs to be run again. Within that limit, reading the drawings has about 60 minutes, and reviewing what it found has another 60 minutes. If either runs out, the results are still published, but the check shows "Incomplete check — some review steps did not finish".
How long a deep check takes. In our testing, a deep check took about 15–35 minutes for a 30-sheet set and about 40–70 minutes for 50–90 sheets; some of the larger runs did not finish every review step. The time depends on how much is on the drawings, not only on the sheet count. Very large sets (200+ sheets) take longer, and the drawing review may not reach every sheet within its 60 minutes.
Speed work so far. In our testing on one document set, a deep check went from about 55 minutes to about 8 minutes after we moved document preparation to upload time. The drawing review is now the largest part of each check (roughly 60–85% in our measurements), and its optimization is under way.
Slower first check. Each project's first check after this release takes longer while its requirement list is rebuilt once.
Getting started
Create your account. Use your work email; an administrator approves access; sign in with your password and the code emailed to you.
Create or select a project.
Upload your PDFs. Drag files into the upload area (use drag-and-drop in this release).
Review the Document Map. Confirm, reject, or correct the inferred versions and governing relationships.
Run a check. Select the document to check and the governing specification(s); choose a deep check for full analysis.
Read the results. Findings are written in plain language with exact-page citations and labelled Violation, Gap or Discrepancy. Lower-confidence findings appear separately under "Preview only, not counted in the totals". Use the filters to narrow the list.
Record your judgment. Record a verdict, usefulness, and impact on each finding. Your judgments stay with that check.
Continue your review. Revisit earlier checks in History, ask questions in Chat, and send feedback anytime from the widget.
Feedback & support
Please report confusing results, missing comparisons, document-handling problems, and feature requests through the in-app feedback widget. Co-build feedback is most valuable when it includes the project context, the result you expected, and what TrueLumen showed instead.
